Drafted by Brian Hopwood this design required close consideration of certain site limitations and restrictions. The site is located in a Flood Hazard area which impacted engineering details for the homes foundations. Privacy and soil type also impacted design and construction of the home.

The design brief from the clients saw an organic evolution in the design work, finally achieving the overall aesthetic and layout they wished for. A cladded home that touched on the current Hamptons trend this home boasts the lifestyle of its seaside community.

Entry to the home is through a traditional style Duce door that leads into a well lit entrance with gorgeous true timber flooring enticing occupants. The lower level comprises of the master bedroom with a large window lit walk in robe, stunning designer ensuite with freestanding bath, custom made blackbutt vanity, herringbone feature wall, awning windows to allow sea breezes and ample natural light.

Also located on the lower level is an at home office space with custom cabinetry, shutters for appeal and functionality, a large media room, laundry, powder room, dining, study nook, butlers pantry and a truly eye catching custom designed kitchen under a beautifully raked ceiling. All of this is met with external patios drawing you outside from various spaces in the lower level.

Move upstairs via the true timber staircase that is soaked with light from an incredibly large fixed glass window. The staircase boasts the aesthetic of the home and should not be overlooked. Upstairs you are met with three bedrooms, an activity area that breathes light and ocean air, a separate toilet and gorgeous master bathroom. Again, internal selections and the homeowners brief are celebrated in both large, and minute details. Carrying through herringbone features or on trend black tapware, consistency and incredible selections truly advocate quality design and workmanship.

This home is a true testament to a close and trusted working relationship between client and builder, builder and trades and client and trades. Sure to a benchmark in look and design this home is a proud project of Brian Hopwood Homes.
